Officially on Spring Break!!!

Finally! That certainly took long enough!!! What a crazy week it’s been! On Tuesday night around 10PM, the power went out in our dorm and didn’t come back on until sometime in the middle of the day on Wednesday. I had a paper due on Wednesday, and it didn’t get finished because of the power issues. Then, Wednesday night, I obviously reset the clock and my alarm so that I would wake up in time for my meeting and midterm on Thursday. However, I forgot to turn the alarm part on, so I completely slept past the time I was supposed to wake up. Someone from my class came halfway through the class to see where I was, and I was dead asleep. So I almost missed my presentation and someone else’s presentation that I was a part of. Not OK at all - my professor was really mad, and I was thrown off for the entire day. So I was ready to go home on Friday, LOL!!! We drove home and arrived around 11:30 PM last night, and it has been so great being at home! I’m here with 3 of my suitemates, and we’re gonna be here for half the week, and then we’re going to one of the other girls’ houses for the second 1/2 - she lives in Orlando, so it’s only about 2 hours away from my house. I’m so happy to be home with my family and my puppies - Florida rocks!!!
