We got our puppy today! Here is little Oliver:

Oliver!

He’s six weeks old today, and he only weighs about 3 1/2 pounds! He’s a cockapoo (part cocker spaniel, part poodle). He’s sooooooo adorable! We’re gonna have a challenge getting him to stop chewing and with housebreaking, but we’re ready for it! Anyone got any tips?

He’s SO cute!! I so want a puppy again. I had to give mine away cause my dad wouldn’t let me keep her. My tips are, if he does something bad, but you didn’t catch him doing it, don’t punish him. Only punish him (like say “NO!” or something) IF you CATCH HIM! Otherwise, he’ll think he’s in trouble all the time. Potty training is hard. Take him outside a lot. Sometimes he might go outside and then come inside and go again. Puppies are weird like that. LOL! Um..I can’t think of anything else. He’s too cute though!!

    Loves ya babe!

[...] 7. I still have all my Christmas cards to write. I’ve addressed half of them, but I haven’t actually written in any of the cards. I feel like such a slacker. Maybe I’ll make some hot chocolate, turn on the fire (yes, turn it on - it’s a gas fireplace . . . we do live in FL), and put on a Christmas movie. That’s gotta make me want to do Christmas cards, right? Hmmm, maybe I’ll make copies of the picture of Oliver in his Christmas sweater and stick those in there along with the traditional pic of me and my brother . . . Would y’all be interested in that?
