Blech! What a day! My flight was late leaving Jacksonville, so we didn’t land in Atlanta until 12:00. My next flight left at 12:10 - without me. I had to sit around in the Atlanta airport until the 3:30 flight (which was lucky - the flight they confirmed me to be on was for 6:10 . . . I managed to get on the standby flight).

So I missed my flight, which made me miss my ride in Birmingham, so I had to get a cab to the hotel . . . sigh. It wasn’t that bad, just exhausting, and the only reason I was even allowed to come to the wedding was because I promised my parents and my doctor that I wouldn’t “overdo it.”

Off to bed for me! I gots a wedding to attend tomorrow!
