Okay, I’d say start with The Screwtape Letters or The Great Divorce. Mere Christianity is also one of my favs, but not nearly as creative as the first two. I think in order to really start to appreciate him, you need to see the more creative stuff.

Definitely The Screwtape Letters or Mere Christianity. The latter is more substantial and requires more careful reading, so if you haven’t got time for that now, you might want to start with the former.

I like all of those choices. Can I include “Surprised by Joy” into the mix? And if you like fiction, the “Ransom Trilogy” is good also.
I’d have to agree about The Screwtape Letters or The Great Divorce. Mere Christianity can be difficult to get through during the school year–save that for summer maybe. Unless of course you want to read the Chronicles before you see the movie.
