This movie was really sweet. Tom Hanks was cast wonderfully as a twelve year old boy who suddenly finds himself an adult and in the corporate world. The movie is ripe with scenes that show that the character really is still a child – I believed it!
My favorite scene may have been when Tom Hanks’s character plays “Heart & Soul” on one of those huge piano keypad things with his boss. It is delightful to see how he interacts in an adult world with a child’s innocence. Makes you really wonder why we get so wrapped up in our “adult” world without taking time to enjoy simpler pleasures . . .
