Two things a man cannot hide: that he is drunk, and that he is in love. ~Antiphanes

Of course, as soon as my life gets somewhat back to less than chaotic, what happens?

MY COMPUTER CRASHES!

And since I’m no longer a student at Wake Forest, they can’t do tech support for my computer anymore (Wake Forest issues a laptop to every student upon entry of the school, and we keep that computer when we graduate, so we all have the same computer and Wake does all the tech support for all of them).

Greeeeeeeeeat. So, that is why my 13 wasn’t posted this week. My dad is out of town on business, so I am currently using his laptop (I drove home from school on Friday).

Right now I’m waiting for a cable to come in the mail which will supposedly allow me to read all the files from my hardrive through a USB connection to another computer. Since life has been so chaotic lately, of course I don’t have a recent backup of my system. I had the cable overnighted . . . so it should have been here 2 days ago. As soon as I get it I will know if I can back up my computer, and then I can call IBM and figure out what needs to happen to completely restart my system.

So the big update I was working on? Still coming. Just want to see if I can salvage from my computer first . . .
