PayPerPost

PayPerPost

After reading a review online about PayPerPost, I thought I’d go visit myself to see what all the fuss is about.

Basically, you sign up for an account and a list of opportunities is presented to you. You can blog about any of these opportunities. Some have requirements (like you have to include a picture or something), and others don’t. It really depends on the opportunity. You can do as many or as few as you like.

And then the company pays you a certain amount for your post.

Doesn’t sound so bad. I mean, some of the opportunities look like shameless advertising plugs for companies, but a lot of them are just interesting topics you can blog about. I understand how one could get out of hand and try to do all the opportunities, hence compromising the integrity of the blog. But if one is responsible about which opportunities he choses, I don’t see what the problem is. What do you think?

Entering the fray . . .

After reading an inspiring post on Bug’s site, I decided that I too wanted to join the Blogathon 2006!

Sponsor Me!

On July 29 I will blog every half hour for 24 hours. That’s 48 posts in a day – phew! And not a whole lot of sleeping, LOL!

The charity I have chosen is The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. As many of you know, my mother is a breast cancer survivor. I also have MANY friends who either have had breast cancer or their mothers have had it. I have several friends who also have aunts and grandmothers who have had breast cancer. One of my friends from high school had to deal with his mother, three aunts, and grandmother all having breast cancer.

Please consider sponsoring me in the blogathon. Even one dollar an hour would help! You can either sponsor by the hour or a flat sum for the day.

There are all sorts of answers that you can find on the Blogathon website, but as always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
