So many people responded to my Firefox Extentions post and my Why I Love Blogging post about technical ineptitude that I decided to make up this post about helpful blogging tech-y things. Please note that this only barely scratches the surface (mostly because I am very novice at all this)! If you want clarification on these things, ask! If I don’t have a clue about what you are curious about, I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction ! 1. Get the right blogging platform. Robin over at PENSIEVE writes “Iâ€™m technically deficient, but I wanna pursue learning more about that side of bloggingâ€¦any suggestions where to begin? (You said â€œask awayâ€ in your profile page, so Iâ€™m a askinâ€™ ).” The beginning seems like a good place to start, LOL! HA! Who told Robin it wasn’t okay to love blogging?? I guess if it takes too much of your time, but that really depends on the person! I love the meeting of new people too..there isnt’ anything like it.

Dang, I don’t wanna repeat what everyone has already said, but ditto, ditto, ditto.

It has slowly dawned on me that it’s “okay” to love blogging! It’s a hobby & creative outlet for me. I love finding blog kindreds and receiving comments (especially those from peeps who read the entire post, lol, not just try to generate traffic back to their site….guess we all do that from time to time, though).

I’m technically deficient, but I wanna pursue learning more about that side of blogging…any suggestions where to begin? (You said “ask away” in your profile page, so I’m a askin’ ).

I couldn’t agree more! My family has grown by leaps since I started blogging. I have friends who cheer me up, make my laugh, remind me to pray and are there when I need to vent. They don’t care if I am in my pj’s or fully dressed. This is so addictive but so fulfilling.

You are so right! I feel the same way about blogging! I know a little of the tech behind it, not so much in techy terms which drives my partner a lot when I’m asking him for hlep!

You are right. There are many interesting blogs out there. I do read once in a while a tech blog, but mostly women blogs. I like to read about their perspecitve in life.:)
