The rest will come. I gave up biting my nails as a new year's resolution many years ago--one of two I ever kept as a life long change. I wore gloves, kept a nail file with me at all times, and used nail polish. I worked on smoothing them and using hand lotion if I watched TV. It helps to know what microbes and germs are on your hands and under your nails too. My hands are now one of my best features--but they used to be my worst.
