When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes. ~Erasmus

Please take a moment to stop by mamaVISION’s blog, and then please lift up a young woman named Leah’s family in prayer. Leah battled with an eating disorder, and she passed away this week.

She was not a celebrity. She was not a model. She was a real girl with a very real disease that killed her. Anorexia (ana) and bulimia (mia) are NOT to be tolerated!

Please pray for those who have been taken by these diseases, and for those who still have a chance to live, if only they get the help they need. And spread the word - eating disorders are real, and the miserable weight-obsessed culture that we live in (and value!) are killing our women.

Hi Lindsey: Thank you for taking the time to recognize Leah and the lost of this wonderful, young women. As a blogger you probably understand how you connect with individuals online. I thought of Leah as “one of my girls.” She was in recovery, yet the damage to her body was done. Thanks again, and keep the prayers coming!
