Here’s Me as an M&M!

It has taken me FOREVER to get around to writing this post, but finally I am. Back at the beginning of December, I got my Treo ;-)! Here she is:

Isn’t she purdy? She’s a Treo 680 in Artic White, unlocked of course. You can’t get the colors with Cingular, and I would have had to renew my contract for another 2 years. While I don’t imagine I’ll be switching to a new company, I will be getting a new number when I move (eventually), so I didn’t want to be locked into 2 more years with this area code. Here’s a side view:

For the most part I am loving her (and yes, her name is Cleo - my first female technical thing, usually they’re all boys). There are a few things that I don’t like . . . the phone isn’t extremely reliable. However, I imagine as software is updated over the next few months those issues will be resolved.

I used the website Treonauts to help me make my decisions about what Treo to get and what software to get for it. It is a FANTASTIC resource!

So, 2 months late, let’s mark off #64 on my 101 in 1001!

Sorry I haven’t been around recently - my mom came to visit!! She came up here on Saturday, and just left about thirty minutes ago :-(. It was great getting to see her and the puppies (she brought them along with her). We just hung out, I got to cook for her, and Bo came to see us (and then we went to Elon to see him). It was nice to visit, and I’m sad that she’s gone . . .

Also, I now have a job :-)!!! As of Monday I begin working for Starbucks (yes Baxley, I sold my soul to the devil). I’m super excited because I LOOOVE Starbucks, so this will be great :-)! I’ll keep you updated as I start working! And cross off #27 on my 101 in 1001!
