Works For Me Wednesday!

It’s the Christmas edition of Works for Me Wednesday, and I am SUPER excited because I’ve already started all my Christmas planning, and I can’t wait to see what everyone else is doing!

Planning is key in my mind. Making your Christmas card list, keeping track of gifts you’re giving, having recipes on hand . . . the list goes on and on. And what better way to do that than having an AWESOME Christmas planner. Where, might you ask, can one find such an amazing tool? FlyLady, of course!

Now, before you grumble, I know that many of you have issues with FlyLady, so hear me out. You don’t actually have to join FlyLady to use her planner (though I personally think EVERYONE could benefit from a little FLYwashing), and the planner is completely free. Just CLICK HERE to go to the planner, download it and print it off, and enjoy the benefits of having all that great holiday info in one location - one PORTABLE location. Stick it in the car and take it to the mall or the grocery store, it’s simply great.

Fantastic organization that makes Christmas easier so that I can enjoy the time with friends and family? That soooooooo works for me!

Blogging Chicks

“Did you make a New Year’s resolution this past year? How’s that coming for you? Post what your resolution was and how you’re doing now that we’re 3/4 of the way through the year!”

Julie at Another Chance Ranch took the easy way out this year. Is it fair to make resolutions that you know you will stick to? Check out her “planned” resolutions.

CyberCelt discusses a problem with Compulsive Planning Disorder, and how it effects New Year’s Resolutions for next year!

Rachael looks at her new years’ ponderings and talks a lot about pain and fear, but in a good way.

I talk about my resolution, and for once looks like I’ll be able to achieve it!!!

Gattina writes about how her resolution changed her life!

Thanks for joining us this week!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Everyone knows the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and everyone’s seen Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. However, I’ve never particularly liked that movie - it always gave me nightmares, especially the blueberry part and the Oompa Loompa songs.

I am quite pleased to say that I LOVED this movie! It was extremely well done, and didn’t give me nightmares at all :). I’ve been told that it’s significantly more true to the book, and now that I’m not terrified of the story, I’m planning on reading the book to see how accurate this movie was. I really really enjoyed this!
